
Cameron Highlands
Named after a government surveyor, William Cameron, Cameron Highlands is located 1,524 meters above sea level among the lofty peaks of the main range of the Peninsula Malaysia. The Highlands was discovered in 1885. Described as a fine plateau with gentle slopes, shut in by lofty mountains is now a popular holiday retreat with outdoor designed cottages. The temperature is about 10 to 21 degrees Celsius.
